About this file
This is a Question and Answer document for a Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) liquid oxygen supply solicitation (DQ1 2015_1656). The procurement involves the provision and delivery of liquid oxygen to support CPW operations. The agency requires approximately 26,000 CCF (hundred cubic feet) of oxygen annually, based on the prior fiscal year's consumption. CPW will provide and own a 1,500-gallon storage tank that is accessible to semi tractor trailers with adequate turnaround space for bulk deliveries. The solicitation closed on June 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. MST.
The Q&A document confirms that the delivery site can accommodate large 6,000-gallon bulk transport vehicles without microbulk delivery restrictions. Information regarding the incumbent supplier and current liquid oxygen pricing was withheld from public disclosure until the solicitation closing date. The responses provided address critical operational and logistical questions essential for bidders to develop competitive proposals and understand delivery requirements.

Q&A:
1. Could you please verify the tank ownership? The bid states that CPW will provide and monitor a
1,500 gallon tank. Is it owned by CPW?
Answer: Yes the CPW does own the tank.
2. Could you please verify the 2014 delivered quantity or the last fiscal year delivered oxygen quantity?
Answer: We used approximately 26,000 CCF of oxygen last year.
3. Is the tank accessible via a large 6,000 gallon bulk transport or are there any delivery area restrictions whereby the deliveries must occur via a microbulk trailer?
Answer: The tank is accessible to a semi tractor trailer and has a turnaround for one as well.
4. Could you please let us know who the current supplier is and what the current price for liquid oxygen is?
We cannot divulge this information until the solicitation closes on 6/30/15 @ 11:00 a.m. (MST).
