About this file

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Main Street Columbia, Inc. under the Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Program for the design and production of seasonal street banners in Columbia, Mississippi. The project requires the production of four sets of 32 double-sided banners (128 total banners) to be displayed on lampposts along Main and Second Streets. The four seasonal themes are "Love Columbia" (February-April), "Play Columbia" (May-July), "Shop Columbia" (August-October), and "Believe in Columbia" (November-January). Proposals are due December 10, with contract award by December 20.

The RFP requires proposals to include preliminary design concepts, material specifications for outdoor durability, and cost breakdowns for all four banner sets. Design requirements specify that banners must incorporate Columbia's promotional logo, feature local landmarks, use seasonal colors, and limit text-only designs to less than half of each set. Evaluation criteria include creativity, material quality, cost-effectiveness, past experience, and ability to meet timelines. The RFP does not specify a set budget but requests pricing flexibility and per-set costs within the proposal. Proposals can be submitted via email or mail to Main Street Columbia, Inc., with Lori Watts serving as the contact person for questions.
