About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Two, regarding a video wall and support solution. The intended use of the new video wall solution is to replace or enhance the existing Activu solution. The new video wall Activu solution, inclusive of all displays, servers, monitors, software, cables, components, and ancillary equipment, must be furnished, installed, configured, and tested by the vendor at the new and existing sites, as well as all remote site locations. The new solution must be scalable and allow for the addition of a minimum of twenty (20) new remote site locations as needed without the need to purchase any additional hardware. The new video wall solution must accommodate the existing setting at the RTMC. Activu Corporation is the sole provider of the Activu system, and FDOT intends to enter into a single-source purchase contract with the company.

The estimated dollar amount for this procurement is $245,000.00. Activu Corporation is the sole provider of the Activu system, which is necessary and unique software and hardware equipment that provides video feed available at the RTMC for FDOT and partnering agencies. This system allows for seamless communication, planning, and execution at the RTMC for 24/7 operations, and it enhances the Department's capabilities to improve safety on the roadways with decreased response times from first responders.
