About this file

This document is Addendum No. 3 to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Janitorial Services Solicitation No. DOS-ITB-21/22-029 issued by the Florida Department of State. The addendum addresses questions and answers related to the janitorial services required at several state historic sites, including The Grove Museum, Knott House Museum, Brokaw McDougall House, Union Bank Museum, and Mission San Luis Visitor Center located in Leon County and Tallahassee City, Florida. The ITB outlines the scope of work, site locations, and procedures for submitting a bid. Bidders are required to attend all pre-bid site visits as a mandatory pre-condition for responding to the solicitation.

The addendum provides clarification on the supply of cleaning materials, the number of cleaning personnel allowed on-site, whether previous contractors have provided these services, the areas needing floor refinishing, deck cleaning requirements, storage of cleaning supplies, mopping requirements, and weekend/holiday cleaning rates. It also confirms that no other bonds are required beyond what is stated in the solicitation and that the Department will use a scoring sheet to evaluate the submitted bids.
