About this file

This Request for Quotation document is issued by the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation for the Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail to solicit bids for a one-time purchase of interior doors. The facility is located at 2006 Trap Springs Road, Grafton, WV 26354. The solicitation requests two types of fire-rated steel doors: 90-minute fire-rated single doors measuring 36 inches wide by 79.5 inches high with a 6-inch frame, and 90-minute fire-rated double doors measuring 60 inches wide consisting of two independent doors (35.75 inches and 23.75 inches) with a 4.875-inch frame, both primed grey and right-hand swing out. Both door types must be pre-drilled and ready for lock sets and deadbolts at specified measurements. The contract will be awarded to the vendor providing the lowest overall total cost for items meeting all mandatory specifications. The document does not specify quantities, response deadlines, site visit opportunities, or bidders' conferences.

The contract requires vendors to complete a pricing page with their best pricing for the door items and submit bids through wvOasis or an attached Exhibit A. Vendors must deliver the contracted items within seven calendar days of receiving a purchase order, with delivery F.O.B. destination to the Agency's location. The Agency reserves the right to cancel the contract if delivery is delayed or to source items from third parties with Purchasing Division approval. Installation of the doors and installation of locks and deadbolts will be performed by the Agency. The document references the State of West Virginia's General Terms and Conditions for additional contract details and payment procedures, though no specific funding amount or budget is identified in the specifications.
