Amendment A002

The following questions and answers are incorporated in the RFP as set forth at length.

Q. Per the solicitation, page 33 of 36, items #3 and #9, actual physical furniture samples and color boards are requested. Please advise if you want actual physical samples of the Adirondack chairs and/or picnic tables. Please also advise if a color board is still required for this furniture.

A. Yes, offerors are to provide one (1) sample chair and a color board. Please refer to Section L., “Proposal Submission Requirements”, Item (9), page 33 of 36, of the RFP.

Offerors are to provide one (1) sample chair and small samples of the materials proposed for the CCY furniture. Please also refer to Section L., “Proposal Submission Requirements”, Item (3), page 33 of 36, of the RFP. Offerors are to provide color boards to illustrate the color and types of furniture being proposed.

Q. For the samples to be presented, please confirm that we need to ship real actual samples of the chairs, picnic tables and side tables OR if the poly lumber color options and the CAD rendering are acceptable as mailing actual samples of each of the items cam become very costly.

A. Please refer to the answer above. In accordance with Section L, “Proposal Submission Requirements”, Item (9), page 33 of 56 of the RFP, offerors are to provide/ship one (1) sample chair only. The actual sample chair has to be shipped. No samples of the tables are required to be shipped.

The small samples of the materials proposed for the CCY furniture that are required are further defined as small squares in various sizes. For example, 2”x2” or 4”x4” squares similar to what can be obtained at a building supply store (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.) or any other furniture store.

Please be advised that the poly lumber options and the CAD renderings to replace the actual chair sample are not acceptable.

Q. Please provide clarification on the Buy American Act.

A. Please refer to Section I.2., “Buy American Act”, page 27 of 36, of the RFP. It is the responsibility of offerors to ensure its products comply with the Act.

Q. Please advise if the courtyard chairs need to have a foldable function or fixed.

A. The chairs have to be fixed with no foldable function.
