About this file

This document is an instruction manual from the State of Mississippi's OPTFM (Office of Purchasing, Travel and Fleet Management) detailing how to complete an internal catalog spreadsheet for state contracts. The document outlines specific requirements for filling out 15 different columns in a spreadsheet template used for submitting product information for state contracts.

The instructions specify detailed formatting requirements including unique supplier part numbers, character limits for descriptions (99 characters maximum), NIGP code usage, pricing formats requiring two decimal places, and delivery timeframes expressed as maximum days rather than ranges. The spreadsheet is password protected and locked, allowing data entry only in specified columns of "Sheet 1," which must be renamed to the manufacturer's name. Key required information includes supplier details, part numbers, product descriptions, NIGP codes, contract pricing, MSRP, delivery times, units of measure, manufacturer information, and product URLs.
