The project involves removing and replacing a manual edge of dock leveler with a new hydraulic pan dock leveler and replacing ten existing dock bumpers. The new dock leveler specifications include a 12-inch operating range, 20,000-pound rating, hydraulic support, multi-spring counterbalance system, safety features, and specific electrical and control requirements. The installation will require demolishing existing concrete, creating a new equipment pit sized between 72-74" wide and 62-72" long, and installing electrical components with specific mounting instructions.

The project requires precise installation of the dock leveler and bumpers, with specific technical requirements for equipment, mounting hardware, and electrical connections. The contractor is responsible for complete installation, including concrete work, electrical wiring, and equipment mounting, with the facility's electrician providing power to the disconnect switch. The replacement bumpers will be installed using zinc-coated steel wedge anchors, nuts, and washers, with specific dimensional requirements for top and bottom row bumpers. No specific pricing, funding sources, or contract term details are provided in the document.
