About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 to a solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Airport Facilities & Systems Consultant Services. The addendum provides clarifications and modifications to the original solicitation requirements. Key modifications include adjustments to the scope of work, clarification of deliverables, and updated technical specifications for the consultant services to be provided. The addendum establishes revised timelines for proposal submissions and includes modifications to evaluation criteria that bidders must address in their responses. Specific attention is directed to changes in required qualifications, experience documentation, and the organizational structure expected from responding firms. The document maintains the original contract term while clarifying service delivery expectations and performance metrics that will be used to evaluate consultant performance throughout the engagement period.
The addendum addresses pricing considerations by clarifying cost allocation methodologies and defining how expenses should be documented within proposals. It establishes that this opportunity remains open to qualified consultants meeting the specified experience and certification requirements, with particular emphasis on demonstrated expertise in airport facility management and systems assessment. The document reinforces funding sources and budget parameters established in the original solicitation while providing additional guidance on how proposals should align with available appropriations. All prospective bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their submissions, and failure to do so may result in proposal rejection.
