The Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG), as an agent of the National Guard Bureau (NGB), is currently responsible for the prudent management and use of the approximately 250 acre Snake Creek Weekend Training Site (WETS) near Miramar, Florida. The C-9 canal bisects the Snake Creek WETS property, with approximately 100 acres of the property located to the north of the canal (North Parcel) and 150 acres to the south (South Parcel) of the canal. Please refer to the attached aerial map.

Considering these management responsibilities outlined in the FLARNG Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan (INRMP) for Snake Creek, the FLARNG requires a contract to perform Invasive Species Management & Chipping, at Snake Creek WETS.

The Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG), seeks Contractor support for a One- Year Contract for Invasive Species Management on 250 acres of the entire Training Site Area to include both North & South Posts of Florida Army National Guard Property at the Snake Creek Weekend Training Site, adjacent to the Robert O.

Harrison Readiness Center in the Southeast Florida region.

The invasive species management will consist of spraying and removal/chipping of the invasive species (trees/bushes/vines) within the dense vegetation that is parallel to the fence lines of the entire 250 acres. In addition, spray & mulch the dense reed grass clumps (Johnson grass/Guinea Grass/Cane Grass) throughout the entire site (see attached maps).
