About this file

This addendum modifies the original bidding documents for DMA-ITB-360, a herbicide application services solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Military Affairs, State Quartermaster Purchasing & Contracting Office, for invasive species management at the Snake Creek Weekend Training Site in Miramar, Florida. The addendum, issued on August 28, 2026, provides six clarifications regarding the scope of work. Key clarifications include: chipping and mulching giant reed on-site; spot spraying invasive species trees, bushes, and vines within dense vegetation parallel to fence lines; spot spraying invasive woody species and tall reed/grasses in open areas of both North and South Posts without removing trees; avoiding three staked pollinator gardens on the south post; and conducting quarterly inspections with follow-up spraying as necessary. Bids are due September 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the State Facilities Building in St. Augustine, Florida. The contract term runs from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027.

All herbicide spraying activities require completion of a DD Form 1532-1 Log Sheet, which will be provided by the Project Manager to the awarded bidder following contract execution. The addendum specifies no modifications to pricing or contract terms, and no additional questions were received prior to issuance. Contractors must maintain compliance with all state-approved chemicals (Glyphosate, Imazapyr, or Triclopyr) and submit required documentation to the Project Manager. Questions regarding this addendum should be directed to Purchasing@dma.fl.gov or the Construction & Facility Management Office Environmental Section contact.
