Question: Answer:
Is there an incumbent or predecessor contract or contractor associated to the requirement? If any, please provide the contractor's name and contract number.
No, there is not an incumbent or predecessor contract or contractor associated with the C5ISR Gateway to Sustainment.
Is it correct to conclude the awardees will be performing sustaining maintenance on C5ISR equipment that has already been procured by the Government, and not procuring new equipment for fielding purposes?
If that’s correct, then any hardware procured for this effort would be for the repair/maintenance/overhaul/reset of fielded equipment provided to the contractor to perform those services upon. Is that also correct?
Through C5ISR G2S Standard Equipment that is currently fielded and in sustainment will be procured in addition to Non-Standard Equipment and Services.
Awardees will not solely perform sustaining maintenance.
The proposed support covered by this acquisition consists of commercial and non-commercial items and services. Equipment and Services will support CECOM C5ISR areas stated in the Concept Statement Document.
May Canadian businesses submit proposals for this solicitation? Are there extra restrictions for foreign participation?
Vendors will be required to obtain Joint Certification Program approval:

TDPs for this acquisition may be subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All technical documents for these items include but are not limited to, test plans, test reports, drawings and specifications containing information that may be subject to the controls defined in the ITAR. This information shall not be provided to non- U.S.
persons or transferred by any means to any location outside the United States.
A company wishing to receive the TDPs must have an active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP).
Is this the follow-on to the DLA’s “Tailored Logistics Support (TLS)” contract?
No, this is not a follow-on to DLA’s “Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) Contract.

Is there additional information regarding the timing of the RFP for this new requirement?
At this time DLA is in the Market Research phase and does not have a date for the RFP.
This program appears to overlap with the CHS contract vehicle, e.g. items that may be ordered under CHS could have sustainment support provided under G2S. Can you please compare and contrast these two contract vehicles, and how they may be coordinated?
The G2S Program goal is to encompass CECOM C5ISR Program Support Categories mentioned within the program's concept document. While redundancy may exist, G2S is intended to allow flexible holistic (spare, repair, engineering services etc.) sustainment support solutions for current and future systems.
