The amendment, dated July 24, 2026, extends the proposal due date from the original date to August 14, 2026. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment via email to Dustin Hansrote at hansrote@fnal.gov prior to the proposal deadline. Offerors who have already submitted proposals may submit changes by email referencing both the solicitation number and this amendment, provided the changes are received before the revised due date and time.

The amendment schedules a mandatory site visit for August 5, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. Central Time at the Main Gate Badging Office (intersection of Kirk Road and Pine Street) at Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois. Attendees without existing Fermilab access badges must submit an Access Request form at least seven days in advance. Access requirements include presentation of a Valid Driver's License (Real ID compliant), an informal invitation letter with QR code, and the Visitor and Business Visitor Attestation Form at the security gate. The site visit provides an opportunity to discuss and clarify RFP requirements, though nothing discussed modifies RFP requirements unless formally amended in writing. Fermilab prohibits weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, and hazardous materials on-site, and requires compliance with Illinois Rules of the Road. The technical contact for site visit coordination is Jack Kelly at jkelly@fnal.gov or 630-840-5674.
