About this file

This is a project manual containing construction documents for DeWitt Public Schools' Herbison Woods Bleachers Replacement project (Project No. 216011) dated August 14, 2017. The project involves replacing bleachers at Herbison Woods School and includes specifications for selective demolition, firestopping, gymnasium equipment, telescoping bleachers, and various electrical work including wiring, conduit, boxes, panelboards, circuit breakers and switches. The project is being managed by GMB Architecture + Engineering of Holland, MI and The Skillman Corporation of Portage, MI is serving as the Construction Manager.

The technical specifications detail requirements for telescoping bleachers with a minimum seating capacity of 191, including power operation, wall-attached forward-folding design, and safety features like self-storing end railings and ADA-compliant cutouts. The electrical scope encompasses demolition of existing systems, installation of new power distribution equipment, and all associated wiring and controls. While specific pricing terms are not included in this volume, the documents require contractors to submit detailed product data, shop drawings, and qualification information for key components and specify stringent quality assurance measures and testing requirements.
