About this file

This document is a Scope of Work for the Nevada Army National Guard Construction and Facilities Management Office, specifically for the Emergency Services (DEM) Building located at 2478 Fairview Dr. in Carson City, NV. The project involves comprehensive carpet removal and concrete polishing services, covering approximately 3,626 square feet of carpet removal, 995 linear feet of 4-inch vinyl cove base removal, installation of new vinyl cove base, cutting carpet at 42 door terminations, and installing transition strips. The work is to be completed in two phases with two mobilizations, focusing on removing existing carpets, preparing concrete floors, and applying a polished finish.

The solicitation requires bidders to provide detailed proposals including contractor licensing, state business licensing, contact information, hourly rates for various service times, and a comprehensive breakdown of all potential fees. Bidders must also submit proof of liability and worker's compensation insurance, with certificates naming the Office of the Military as the certificate holder. Vendors must be registered with the State of Nevada and prepared to use electronic payment transfer. The project's rationale stems from the current carpet having reached the end of its useful life, and the agency's lack of internal skills, time, or tools to complete the renovation independently.
