About this file
This is a delivery schedule document for food service items at FCI McDowell for the 3rd quarter of FY25, with deliveries required before April 1, 2025. The schedule specifies delivery requirements including delivery hours (M-F, 7:30am-2:30pm, no holidays/weekends), temperature requirements (34-40°F for non-frozen perishables, 0°F or below for frozen foods), and palletization requirements.
The associated solicitation indicates that vendor evaluation will be based on past performance, socioeconomic status, overall price, and delivery schedule, with emphasis on past performance and delivery schedule. Vendors must provide accurate case count calculations and pricing on bid sheets. Poor past performance or delivery issues will result in placement on a "do not award" list for the following quarter. Bids are to be submitted via email to woquinn@bop.gov and jriffe@bop.gov. The contracting agency is the Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Institution McDowell.
