The solicitation is seeking weekly produce deliveries for the third quarter of fiscal year 2024 to the Federal Correctional Institution in McDowell, West Virginia. Deliveries must occur between 7:30am and 2:30pm Mondays through Fridays, excluding federal holidays and weekends, and must be palletized. Non-frozen items must be delivered between 34 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, while frozen items must be at or below 0 degrees. Products that appear thawed will be refused. The Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons is the contracting agency, and evaluations will prioritize past performance, delivery schedule, freshness, and socio-economic status over price.
