About this file

This is a Delivery Schedule document for a federal food service contract specifying delivery requirements and conditions for the fourth quarter of 2026 (October 1 – December 30, 2026).

The document outlines four delivery schedules based on frequency: Schedule 1 requires all items delivered between October 1-15, 2026; Schedule 2 specifies biweekly deliveries for an estimated seven deliveries during the quarter; Schedule 3 mandates weekly deliveries totaling approximately 13 deliveries; and Schedule 4 requires twice-weekly deliveries totaling approximately 26 deliveries. All deliveries operate on a first-come, first-serve basis and must occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, with the Food Service Warehouse contactable at (256) 315-4219 or (256) 315-4184. Vendors and Food Service Staff must mutually determine specific delivery dates for Schedules 2, 3, and 4.

All deliveries must be palletized and comply with strict temperature requirements: non-frozen perishable foods must be delivered between 34°F and 40°F, while frozen foods must be delivered at 0°F or below with evidence of prior thawing resulting in refusal. All Certified Religious Diet Items must be clearly marked. Items undergo close inspection and may require thawing and cooking to verify specification compliance, with conditional receipt permitted for up to three days for examination and testing. Non-compliant items will be refused and conditionally received items determined unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor within two weeks at vendor expense or will be disposed of by the government. Vendors failing to meet delivery schedules are subject to removal from future solicitations.
