About this file
This document is a delivery schedule for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2025 for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) McDowell food service. The schedule outlines the requirements for all subsistence item deliveries to be made by October 18, 2024. Deliveries can be made Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays and weekends. All deliveries must be palletized, with non-frozen perishable foods maintained between 34-40°F and frozen foods at 0°F or below. Vendors who fail to meet the delivery schedule may be removed from future solicitations. The document also states that all Certified Religious Diet items must be properly marked, and items that do not meet specifications will be refused. Vendors have two weeks to pick up any conditionally received items that are found to be unacceptable, or the items will be properly disposed.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2025 food bids, with a focus on kosher items. Evaluations will be based on past performance, socioeconomic status, overall price, and delivery schedule, with greater emphasis on past performance and delivery schedule. Vendors must provide calculations to match the posted quantities, and past performance issues may result in the vendor being placed on a "do not award" list for the following quarter.
