About this file
This document contains standard contract language and delivery instructions for the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) related to shipments of Vertical Lift Modules.
Contractors delivering to TYAD must comply with specific appointment scheduling and delivery procedures based on the destination DoDAAC code. For shipments destined to DoDAAC W25G1V (Central Receiving, ASRS, or 1C6) or SW310Z (Warehouse 7, Bay 5), carriers must register and schedule deliveries through the Carrier Appointment System (CAS) at https://eta.sddc.army.mil/ETASSOPortal/default.aspx. The registration process requires approximately 2-3 weeks, with appointments available 24 hours to two weeks in advance. UPS and FedEx Small Parcel carriers are exempt from CAS scheduling requirements. Central Receiving hours of operation are 0730 to 1500 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. For scheduling inquiries, contractors should contact Eddie Abda at (570) 615-5970.
Multi-axle vehicles must enter and exit through the TYAD Truck gate on Squire Street, operating Monday through Friday from 0730 to 1530 hours (closed Federal Holidays and weekends). Standard vehicles not exceeding 10 feet in height may use the Main gate but require visitor and vehicle passes from the Security Office in Building 20. All drivers must carry valid vehicle insurance, registration, driver's license with appropriate endorsement, and documentation (bill of lading or purchase order) that includes contractor/vendor company name, telephone number, point of contact, type of goods, and delivery location at TYAD.
