About this file

This document is an Amendment to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the District of Columbia's Office of Contracting and Procurement, on behalf of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), for Citywide Pavement Marking Restoration Construction Management Services. The solicitation seeks experienced firms to provide construction management services for placing pavement markings on the District's roadways. The amendment addresses several clarifications regarding the required certifications for the Resident Engineer and Inspectors, removes certain deliverables from the scope, and provides responses to other questions from prospective offerors.

The contract is a federally funded, open market project with a 22% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontracting goal. The consultant will be required to provide services such as assessing the pavement marking contractor's work, preparing and maintaining contract records, and potentially drafting work orders. Work may be assigned on an emergency basis or an as-needed basis by work order, which will define the scope and expected outcomes. The consultant will be required to visit assigned locations with the DDOT Contract Administrator to verify the scope of work prior to issuance of a work order.
