About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families. The agency is seeking timekeeping billing services compatible with its current Kronos vendor for three state-funded Mental Health Treatment Facilities (MHTF). The services required include cloud hosting and licenses for Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) at the MHTFs. The intended single source for this 2-year contract is Immix Technology, Inc. The estimated annual cost is $168,000. The justification for single-source procurement is that the Immix bridge is already in place and was previously procured through a GSA Schedule 70 contract, but that procurement method is no longer available. Consultation confirmed that Immix is the only known vendor that can integrate the Kronos timekeeping data with the People First payroll system used by the state.

Estimated Dollar Amount:
$168,000.00 per fiscal year
Justification for single source acquisition (what is necessary and unique about the product, service or source; steps taken to confirm unavailability of competition, as appropriate):
The Immix bridge is already in place, having already been previously procured through and GSA Schedule 70 as an alternative contract source (ACS). The Department expected to again license the software by that procurement method. The availability of Immix though an ACS was recently terminated. The Department now has no time to competitively procure. Consultation with our Kronos Administrator has concluded that the only known vendor to work with UKG is Immix.
Without Immix the billing and timekeeping functions will not bridge the information to People First, which is used to generate employee paychecks. Even if procurement were possible there is not time to implement a new system. Therefore, Immix is the only possible solution that can be in place by July 1, 2022.
