About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation D-27-NE-0001 issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration, effective July 3, 2026. The amendment modifies the original solicitation to revise the quote submission deadline from August 24, 2026 to August 19, 2026, incorporate the National Security Risk Assessment Questionnaire (NSRAQ) and DEA Clause 2852.209-75 as mandatory submission documents with all quotes, and provide answers to seven questions submitted by prospective offerors. Prospective offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the revised deadline by completing the amendment form and returning it, acknowledging receipt on each copy of their offer, or submitting a separate letter or telegram referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt prior to the deadline may result in offer rejection.
The Q&A section addresses seven clarifications regarding equipment maintenance and repair services. Key responses include: contractors may recommend approved equivalent, refurbished, or remanufactured parts for end-of-service-life equipment; the $500 repair cost threshold applies to total repairs and materials per part, with the Government responsible for costs exceeding $500; Systems 1 and 2 are two separate Eaton PDUs included in quarterly inspections; the four-hour onsite response period begins upon receipt of a phone call from EPIC and is measured by arrival at the EPIC facility; the August 14 site visit is located at Building 11339 SSG Sims Street, Fort Bliss Military Installation with point of contact George Godinez, Facility Manager; and SF-85 forms should be submitted to EPI.DSO@dea.gov. The solicitation will not be amended to reflect these clarifications.
