A CUMMINS Diesel OEM Technical Representative who is fully employed by an OEM Licensed distributor and designated as a field service representative must oversee all work and be capable of performing calibration, testing, and all OEM adjustments per CUMMINS technical manuals. The contractor must supply all special tooling, components, and parts required, though the Government reserves the option to furnish equipment (GFE) from the USCG SFLC Supply System when available. Specific reporting timelines apply: Core Condition Report within 5 calendar days of receipt, Disassembly Report within 15 calendar days, notification of dynamometer testing 3 business days prior, and repaired engines returned to USCG within 45 calendar days of authorization. The contractor must conduct dynamometer testing capable of holding full power (530 BHP @ 2800 RPM) for a minimum of one hour, with all tools requiring calibration meeting ANS/ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2010 standards. The Government retains the right to witness inspections and tests and must be notified three business days in advance.
