The addendum modifies critical deadlines and procedures for contractor participation in this wastewater treatment facility equipment project. The last date to submit technical questions regarding project specifications is Tuesday, February 3, 2026, with no questions accepted within 72 hours of the bid opening. The sealed bid opening date has been established for February 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., held virtually via Microsoft Teams at the Department of Public Works - Special Districts office located at 222 W. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened, and all submitted bids shall remain valid for 60 calendar days following the bid opening date. The addendum addresses four specific bidder questions, including clarification that no field painting or coating is required for project items, confirmation that Veolia or approved equivalents are acceptable alternatives to the originally specified Allied-Locke Industries clarifier environmental components manufacturer, availability of the mandatory pre-bid meeting attendance roster, and confirmation that ePro is a free public works bidding service. All written interpretations or corrections regarding drawings and specifications must be submitted by February 3, 2026, and will only be binding when issued through formal addenda to the specifications or dated revisions to drawings distributed to all prospective bidders.
