About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) document issued by the New York State Office of State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) for the removal of one PBS underground tank and related propane system installation at Caleb Smith State Park. The project encompasses six primary scope items: furnishing and installing a new 1,000-gallon propane tank with associated excavation, gravel bedding, concrete pad, reinforcing steel, and anchorage; removing the existing oil tank system including piping, valves, and appurtenances; furnishing and installing a new burner conversion system with gas piping, valves, regulators, and controls; furnishing and installing approximately 152 linear feet of temporary construction fencing; constructing a concrete tank pad foundation with reinforcing steel and formwork; and performing site restoration. The project requires excavation and disposal of approximately 60 cubic yards of soil, with all work to be completed in accordance with applicable regulations and signed sealed drawings provided across eight sheets.
The RFQ solicits competitive quotes from qualified contractors capable of executing the complete scope of work as detailed in the specifications and engineering drawings. Interested bidders should review all technical documentation, including the signed and sealed construction drawings (Sheets 1-8) titled "Caleb Smith State Park PBS Tank Removal and Propane Tank Installation," which provide comprehensive details regarding site conditions, equipment specifications, material requirements, and construction methodology. Pricing should be submitted as a firm, fixed-price quote for the entire project scope, with all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals included.
