About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued under GSA eBuy for a project to modify the range power and structures for a target retrieval system at Building 1145 at Buckley Space Force Base in Colorado. The RFI responds to questions from potential bidders regarding as-builts, stamped drawings, range closure, target system installation, demolition requirements, tax exemption, and proposal requirements. It clarifies that the awarded contractor will be responsible for providing as-builts, there is no need for stamped drawings, the range will be closed during construction, the target system will be installed by the manufacturer, and only limited demolition is required. The project is tax exempt, and material quantities are an additional proposal requirement beyond the pricing breakout. The summary of the related federal contract opportunity indicates this is a solicitation to raise safety baffles, demolish the existing target rotation system, move lighting, install electrical outlets and conduit, and replace door hinges.
