CUI 1 CRWU 24-1037 Modify Electric and and Structure for Target Retrieval
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
CRWU 24-1037
Modify Electrical and Structure for Target Retrieval System Building
1145 (B1145)
Opportunity Number: 1140490
03 July 2024
BUCKLEY SPACE FORCE BASE, CO
Revision 1
26 Aug 2024
CUI 2 CRWU 24-1037 Modify Electric and
1.0 BACKGROUND
The wing has purchased a target retrieval system for the small arms range in B1145.
The new system cannot be installed until some modifications are made to the building to accommodate the new system.
The hinges on the barricade doors at each shooting lane have begun to fail. When a hinge fails, it poses a significant risk: the shooter could fall while carrying a loaded weapon. This situation also endangers any surrendering occupants.
The 15 steel lane separating posts must be covered with a soft wood to prevent ricochet of errant shots.
2.0 SCOPE
Raise the safety baffles to accommodate the new target retrieval system.
Demolish the existing non-functioning target rotation system as well as all associated power, pneumatic and Unistrut supports.
Move existing electrical lighting to new baffle position.
Install electrical outlets directly above the retrieval track on the safety ceiling at each of the 14 shooting lanes. Each lane required 125V at 5 Full Load Amps (FLA).
Install conduit for Wireless Access Port (WAP). There will be two ports on the north wall and two ports on the south wall.
Install a Mini Server Rack (MSR) inside the control booth.
Replace hinges on shooting lane doors.
Cover all 15 lane separating columns with soft wood.
