About this file
This is an Additional Specifications document for a Crushed Stone/Sand blanket purchase agreement established by the City of Florissant, Missouri. The document outlines material sourcing, delivery, and specification requirements for various aggregate materials needed for sidewalk and pavement reconstruction as well as potable water system construction and repair projects. All materials must be sourced from stockpiles inspected and approved by personnel from the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department or the Illinois Department of Transportation, with the exception of cold mix asphaltic concrete. The City requires vendors to supply Type 1 aggregate certified to meet Missouri Highway and Transportation Department specifications.
Vendors must include all transportation charges associated with delivering materials to the City's Public Works Complex, Park Maintenance Building, Golf Course Maintenance Area, and other designated locations within the City in their unit bid prices. Vendors are required to clearly indicate any additional delivery charges that may apply on a seasonal or winter service basis. The blanket purchase agreement structure indicates this is a high-volume supply arrangement designed to meet the City's ongoing aggregate material needs for multiple municipal infrastructure projects and maintenance operations.
