About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the annual inspection, load testing, and certification of overhead Gantry Cranes at various southern and northern border locations. The SOW is in support of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) sustainment of the Mobile Surveillance Capability, Mobile Surveillance Capability Lite, and Mobile Video Surveillance System programs.
The SOW requires the vendor to inspect, load test, and certify the Gantry Cranes per Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. The period of performance is from July 1, 2024 to September 3, 2024, and the vendor must provide site inspection reports to the FAA Logistics Management Specialist. The work will take place at 16 specified locations along the southern and northern U.S. borders. This SOW is related to a pre-solicitation market survey for the annual Gantry Crane inspection services, which is being conducted to determine the acquisition strategy and potential set-asides for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) certified firms.
