About this file

This is an Addendum No. 1 to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by Long Beach Utilities for Corrosion Control & Cathodic Protection Solutions. The bid solicitation is for warehouse materials procurement with no construction or installation services included as part of this contract; any future construction or installation work would be competitively bid under separate requests for proposals. The corrected bid submission deadline is February 19th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., superseding the original January 19th, 2026 date listed in the initial ITB documents. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning it with their quote submission.

Pricing must be submitted through the Items Tab of the Long Beach Buys bid submission portal; no pricing sheets or prints are being provided as part of this procurement. Interested vendors are required to register their businesses at https://longbeachbuys.buyspeed.com/bso/ to participate in this and other potential bid opportunities within Long Beach Utilities and other departments. This addendum was prepared by Erin Reyes on January 30, 2026, and addresses five key questions submitted by prospective bidders regarding pricing submission procedures, availability of technical documentation, the scope of work, vendor registration requirements, and clarification of the correct bid deadline.
