About this file

This document provides mandatory onsite visit guidance for vendors interested in the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) concrete pad construction contract opportunity. Vendors must follow social distancing and health screening protocols, including temperature checks and symptom questionnaires, and wear provided face masks and shields while on site. Failure to attend the mandatory onsite visit or comply with the requirements will result in vendor disqualification. The contract opportunity is for the construction of a 40'x80'x8" concrete slab with drainage culvert, to be used for semi-tractor/trailer operations. The project replaces a previous solicitation which was cancelled due to unreasonable pricing. Vendors will be allowed one opportunity to reschedule the mandatory onsite visit within 2 business days if initially denied access.

The document does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other salient commercial information. The focus is on the mandatory onsite visit requirements and procedures for this specific state and local contract opportunity.
