About this file
This is a Common Carrier Attestation document required by Pinellas County, Florida for executive search services contracts. The attestation form requires authorized contractor representatives to confirm compliance with Florida Statute 92.525 and section 908.111, affirming that the contractor will not knowingly transport unauthorized aliens into Florida during the contract term, except to facilitate detention, removal, or departure of such individuals. The document defines a "common carrier" as any person, firm, or corporation that undertakes for hire as a regular business to transport persons or commodities from place to place while offering services to all prospective customers willing to pay applicable charges. The attestation must be signed under penalty of perjury by an authorized representative and requires inclusion of the Federal Work Authorization User Identification Number and the specific Pinellas County contract name and number.
Pinellas County reserves the right to terminate any associated agreement for cause if the contractor is found in violation of the attestation requirements. This form applies to the county's executive search services contract solicitation, which seeks one or more firms to conduct nationwide searches for executive-level positions including Department Directors, Division Directors, Engineers, and Assistant County Administrators on an as-needed basis. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, response dates, or contract duration are detailed in this attestation document, as it serves solely as a compliance verification requirement rather than a substantive scope of work or contract terms document.
