About this file
This document is a Commitment to Diversity Attachment related to an Illinois Department of Human Services Request for Proposal (RFP) for State Operated Development Centers Staffing Consultants. The RFP requests proposals for consultant services to assist with right-sizing staffing at Illinois' State Operated Development Centers. The attachment outlines five categories of information the vendor must provide to demonstrate their commitment to diversity, including a utilization plan, descriptions of assistance provided to underrepresented businesses, a written supplier diversity program, a written training or mentoring program, and details on the diversity of the vendor's leadership and management team. Full points are available for each category, and the vendor's response will be evaluated on their ability to meet the stated diversity goals or demonstrate good faith efforts. The RFP has been issued by the State of Illinois and is open to bids from qualified vendors.
The RFP does not provide specific details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbent vendors, or funding sources. However, it does indicate that the vendor's commitment to diversity will be a significant factor in the evaluation and award of the contract.

The success or failure of each event does not impact the points achieved. Each event contact will be called twice before being deemed unverified. Each event contact will be asked the same set of verification questions (as prescribed by the Agency).
Full points will be awarded if the assistance can be verified. No points will be awarded if the Agency is unable to verify.
