About this file

This is a job aid document from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' COMMBUYS procurement system that provides instructions for vendors on how to withdraw, reopen, and resubmit quotes. The document outlines the procedural steps vendors must follow when they need to modify their submissions before the bid opening date deadline. Vendors may need to withdraw and resubmit quotes for various reasons, including uploading incorrect files, omitting required documentation, or adding supplemental information to their bids. The process requires vendors to have seller privileges in the COMMBUYS system and involves accessing submitted quotes through the Quotes tab or Documents navigation menu, withdrawing the original submission, and then reopening it for modifications.

The resubmission process allows vendors to modify quote information through multiple tabs within the system, including the General tab for description changes, the Items tab for unit cost adjustments, the Questions tab for responding to buyer inquiries, and the Attachments tab for uploading or removing supporting documents. All modifications must be completed before the established bid opening date, and vendors are required to review their revised submissions for completeness and compliance with all bid requirements prior to final resubmission. The document emphasizes that quotes can be withdrawn and resubmitted multiple times before the deadline, providing vendors with flexibility to correct errors or enhance their proposals before the submission window closes.
