The project manual establishes detailed quality assurance, submittals, and execution requirements across all work sections. Key specifications include the tension ball safety netting system manufactured by Sportsfield Specialties, Inc., featuring galvanized aircraft cable support structures and Dyneema ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene netting; LED scoreboards equivalent to Daktronics models for the main stadium, auxiliary fields, baseball, and softball facilities; and permanent galvanized steel bleacher systems with specific design criteria including 100 pounds per square foot live load capacity and compliance with International Building Code standards. The bleacher contractor must be AISC certified and conduct inspections through a third-party AISC-approved inspection agency. The document mandates comprehensive submittals including shop drawings, product data, samples, certifications, and maintenance documentation, with manufacturers required to demonstrate minimum ten years of experience and provide local representation for project coordination. All work must comply with applicable Delaware state and local codes, IBC standards, and ADA accessibility requirements, with two-year manufacturer warranties and post-occupancy inspection protocols specified for quality assurance and ongoing maintenance.
