About this file

This is Addendum #3 to a door installation or renovation project for the Clinton location, providing clarifications and responses to contractor follow-up questions regarding door hardware and specifications. The addendum addresses four key inquiries: confirmation that window kits for interior doors may be either metal or wood construction; clarification of door labeling discrepancies, specifying that doors previously labeled H121, H122, H123, H125, and H126 should be relabeled as C.121, C.122, C.123, C.124, C.125, and C.126 in accordance with Appendix E documentation; specification that exterior exit devices must feature keyed dogging mechanisms rather than Allen wrench dogging; and confirmation that double doors H125 and H126 should be fully functional with proper auto flush bolts installed, rather than remaining in their current non-functional state.

The addendum does not address pricing, set-asides, incumbent information, funding sources, or contract terms. It serves primarily as a technical clarification document to ensure bidders and contractors understand the precise specifications and operational requirements for the door hardware installation project, with particular emphasis on achieving full functionality of all doors upon completion.

a. These doors are mislabeled on the interior door map, they should be labeled as

C.121, C.122, C.123, C.124, C.125, and C.126 as they are in Appendix E

3. Should exterior exit devices be keyed dogging or Allen wrench dogging?

a. Exterior exit devices should be keyed dogged.
