About this file

This document is a business confidentiality claim form that can be used by contractors or private providers to identify records or information that should be protected from public disclosure. The form includes instructions for completing the claim, which must provide a concise statement of reasons supporting the confidentiality claim. The claim applies to records submitted to a governmental entity, with the option to provide a redacted public copy. The confidentiality claim is based on Utah state laws protecting trade secrets and commercial financial information that could result in unfair competitive injury if disclosed.

The related state and local contract opportunity is for the State of Utah Department of Health and Human Services to purchase hand, hair, and foaming body wash soap refills that are compatible with their existing OPS brand soap dispensers. No additional details are provided about quantities, response dates, award information, or contract term.

Business Request for GRAMA Business Confidentiality Claim use by contractors or private providers to identify protected records or information

Note: Utah Code § 63G-2-305(1) states that trade secrets can be protected if the person submitting the trade secret provides the governmental entity with a confidentiality claim. Confidentiality claims are described in Utah Code § 63G-2-309. A claim must include a concise statement of reasons supporting the claim and must be submitted with the information requested to be protected.
