1. Overview

The Bureau of Reclamation, Eastern Colorado Area Office (ECAO), requires the purchase and installation of a new water-cooled chiller, equivalent in function and performance to the existing 50-ton unit currently serving the facility. The chiller to be replaced is a 50-ton raw water-cooled reciprocating liquid chiller Carrier Model 30HK-050-D-610 Serial 2801Q00606. The heat removal from the chiller is accomplished by piped flowing water which is then discharged to a lake. Water from the same source is cooled by the chiller refrigeration and is piped to the office work spaces for temperature conditioning.

The ECAO main office is located at 11056 West County Road 18E, Loveland CO 80537, approximately 5-miles west of Loveland CO.

This procurement will be completed as a supply buy with incidental installation.

2. Scope of Work

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and materials necessary to supply and install a new water-cooled chiller, remove the existing chiller including R-22 disposal, complete mechanical/electrical tie-ins, and provide startup/commissioning.
