Vendor Checklist Summary
This document is a vendor checklist issued by the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division for the Bee Removal Services solicitation (ITB 25-8463R). The solicitation seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive bee removal and eradication services across two categories: Category A for live bee removal performed by Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services-registered beekeepers (estimated 90 annual service sites) and Category B for bee eradication performed by state-licensed pest control agents (estimated 90 annual service sites). Vendors must submit unit pricing on a per-site basis through the County's online bidding portal, with bids due April 30, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The contract term extends for three years with two optional one-year renewal periods. Performance requirements mandate acknowledgment of service requests within one business day, arrival at locations within two business days, work completion within five business days, removal of existing comb and honey, photographic documentation, and two days of follow-up visits post-service, with 24/7 availability required and an optional $100 urgent request fee for service within 24 hours.
The checklist specifies mandatory submission requirements for all vendors, including E-Verify enrollment confirmation, Florida Certificate of Authority or Division of Corporations proof of status, current business tax receipts, completed conflict of interest and immigration certification forms (Forms 2 and 3), vendor declaration statements (Form 1), completed reference questionnaires if applicable (Form 5), W-9 forms, copies of all requested licenses and certifications, bid bonds equal to five percent of the cost proposal, and workers' compensation and general liability insurance with minimum limits of $500,000 and $1,000,000 respectively. Vendors may qualify for local preference status by maintaining a physical business address within Collier County limits and possessing a current local Business Tax Receipt. The County has historically spent approximately $50,000 annually on these services, though future expenditures may vary. All documents must be submitted electronically through OpenGov, with failure to provide applicable documents resulting in non-responsive or non-responsible determinations.
