About this file

This is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services in Illinois regarding security guard services for the Department of Military Affairs. The contract, identified as BBREFNO. 26B50331, covers security guard services across six facilities, including downstate locations and a North Riverside facility. The change order addresses modifications to both hourly wage rates and the number of service hours provided at each facility over a five-year period.

The change order increases the hourly rate from the initially awarded rate of $25.2377 as of January 1, 2021, to $28.75 for downstate facilities and $28.81 for the North Riverside facility, reflecting cumulative prevailing wage increases over the past five years. A further rate adjustment to $31.60 for downstate facilities and $31.89 for North Riverside becomes effective September 1, 2025, in accordance with the new prevailing wage increase. Additionally, the change order incorporates adjustments to the number of hours for each facility to reflect decreases in guard service hours that have occurred over the past five years due to fund availability constraints. This change order meets the posting requirements for contract modifications exceeding $25,000 or extending the completion timeline by 180 days or more and has been posted on the Bulletin/BidBuy for the required 14-day period.
