About this file

This document is a Change Order Notice issued by the Illinois Chief Procurement Office General Services for an existing contract for Automated Weather Observation Maintenance (AWOS) services. The notice details an addendum to the existing contract, which requires the vendor to provide replacement parts and maintenance to meet the intent of the contract's Section 1.2.6. This addendum is estimated to cost an additional $5,800 per month, for a grand total of $348,000 over the remaining term of the contract.

The existing contract is with the Illinois Department of Transportation (DOT) for AWOS services. This change order is necessary due to a recent change in the vendor's responsibility to procure replacement parts, which was not included in the initial contract award. The upgrade to this service will be occurring at the beginning of 2021.
