About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to the HVAC Building Automation System (BAS) Preventative Maintenance services solicitation for the Nevada State Museum in Las Vegas. The form serves as a federal compliance certification requirement for contractors participating in federally funded contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements with state and local government agencies in Nevada.

The certification requires the undersigned vendor to attest that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal officials or members of Congress in connection with the contract award. The form mandates that if any non-federal funds are used for lobbying activities, the contractor must submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities," and must include identical certification language in all subcontract and sub-recipient award documents. The certification is a material representation of fact, and submission is a prerequisite imposed by 31 U.S.C. Section 1352. Failure to file the required certification subjects the contractor to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. The form requires completion with the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and authorized signature along with the date of submission.
