Background:
The 1st Fighter Wing aims to improve the temperature conditions in the rear section of Hangar 220 West by installing two ceiling fans. The hangar is also used for retirement ceremonies, promotions, award presentations, and tours with the First Term Airman Center, Joint NCO, and ACC headquarters.
The primary goal of this project is to reduce the hangar’s internal temperature during hot months, ensuring a more stable and controlled environment for training and ceremonies. This will enhance safety and efficiency, particularly during weapons load training, which occurs daily across all three shifts to meet the Fighter Wing’s munitions standards.
