About this file

This document package includes a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) template and a solicitation for diesel engine supply and service.

The CDRL template outlines standard reporting requirements for overhauls, including submission of an Overhaul Completion Report to the Military Sealift Command, vessel's Chief Engineer, and other parties. The report is due within 10 days of service completion and must include visual inspection results, clearance readings, repairs performed, test outcomes, corrective actions, photographs, and recommendations. A final electronic report must be uploaded to the iNavy portal after the contractor obtains a CAC.

The solicitation seeks diesel engine parts and technical services from original equipment manufacturers to support engines on multiple Military Sealift Command ship classes. Sought engines include models from ALCO, Fairbanks Morse, MAN, and others. The solicitation is a limited source procurement only accepting responses from the engine OEMs, utilizing FAR authority for other than full and open competition. The agency is the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command.
