This Scope of Work document is from Seminole County, Florida, detailing a generator replacement project for six separate locations throughout the county. The project seeks a qualified, state-licensed electrical contractor to provide a turnkey service for replacing multiple generators, disconnect switches, and automatic transfer switches. The locations include Fire Station #42 in Geneva, Fire Station #27 in Winter Springs, Fire Station #36 in Lake Mary, Juvenile Assessment Center in Sanford, Facilities on County Home Road, and the Public Works Admin Building. Each site requires specific generator replacements, with new 2022 Generac generators ranging from 60kw to 130kw, along with corresponding disconnect switches and automatic transfer switches. The project mandates start-up completion dates between 11/10/2023 and 12/31/2023, with contractors responsible for transportation, installation, electrical permit acquisition, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Seminole County will provide the new equipment to be installed and will supply a backup generator for each site up to 150kw, with necessary fuel and cabling. Contractors are responsible for removing existing equipment, site cleanup, and providing all miscellaneous rental equipment, tools, and materials. The county will furnish startup and testing support, including a two-hour load bank test and report for each location. Contractors must provide a one-year manufacturer warranty for installation, and all existing concrete pads, raceways, conduits, and sleeves will be reused where possible. The project emphasizes minimal disruption to ongoing operations, with specific instructions for extending electrical feeders, charger and heater circuits, and start/stop circuits as necessary at each location.
