Questions to Carpet Install BPA
1. Can you please provide specifications for the products that the government is interested being supplied? Please see CRI. The specifications are general. Please place your bid on the carpet that will meet the essential needs. Carpet should have an at least warranty of 1 Year.
2. Could you please clarify the item 1.1.12 of the SOW? Please see new Statement of Work updated on 10-3-12. The Contractor will install products purchased to manufactures specifications. If manufacture requirements require installation, or technical certifications in order to uphold warranty of purchased product contractor will ensure they provide certified personal.
3. What type of carpet can be compared to?
Tight loop, Performance backing on certain projects, commerical grade.
4. Is this a project? No this is not a project. This is a contract to open up to the winning vendors about contracts that go on base, this bid schedule is like place your wage.
5. For line 48 of the Bid List Install Carpet Cushion backing - Contractor furnished, is it the intention to get pricing for the supply and installation of broadloom carpet with an attached cushion? The line item is for supply and installation of broadloom carpet with an attached cushion, yes. No the government will not need a line item for this.
