About this file

This is a California Civil Rights Laws Attachment document applicable to the Invitation to Bid (IFB) 5PA5K00977_01 for Driver Training Systems at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's Ione Training Center (CFTC Ione) located in Ione, California. The attachment establishes the civil rights compliance requirements and legal obligations that bidders must adhere to throughout the procurement process and contract performance. The document outlines mandatory adherence to California civil rights statutes and federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in employment, procurement, and service delivery based on protected characteristics including race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and other legally protected statuses. All bidders are required to acknowledge understanding of and commitment to compliance with these civil rights laws as a condition of bid submission and contract award. The contract term and renewal options, specific product specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements are detailed in the primary IFB documentation and Attachment 1 - Admin Requirements.

Bidders must certify their compliance with California civil rights laws and applicable federal civil rights statutes as part of their bid response. Non-compliance with civil rights requirements is grounds for bid rejection or contract termination. The state reserves the right to enforce civil rights compliance throughout the contract term, including monitoring and audit provisions. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, or funding amounts are detailed within this civil rights attachment document; such information is contained in the primary IFB package materials and supporting attachments.
