About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Questions and Answers spreadsheet for the MIDS-JTRS Field Level Intermediate Trouble Shooting Equipment (MFLITE) project. The RFI is issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/C3NK) to identify qualified vendors for developing an engineering design and technical data package for a non-developmental item used by USAF and international military aircraft maintainers.

The RFI includes two key questions and answers: first, an inquiry about the potential quantity of kits, to which the government responded that no specific requirement has been established and the RFI is primarily to assess vendor capabilities; second, a question about the availability of MFLITE data, which was confirmed to be Government Furnished Information (GFI). The eventual goal is to develop a Technical Manual for aircraft radio maintainers, with a potential follow-on effort to build and field kits, followed by logistics sustainment and software updating. This is a voluntary information-gathering process that does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to contract.
