About this file
This document is a summary of a donor survey conducted by the Oregon Cultural Trust. The survey gathered feedback from 177 new donors about how they learned about the Oregon Cultural Trust tax credit, their donation habits, and their interest in the program. Key findings include that most new donors learned about the tax credit through personal connections, over three-quarters donated online, and nearly 90% believe reauthorization of the tax credit is important. The document also includes demographic information about the new donors, indicating they are predominantly women with household incomes over $75,000 and living in cities along the I-5 corridor.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for campaign services to convert cultural donors who do not currently participate in the cultural tax credit to Trust donors. The State of Oregon, acting through the Oregon Business Development Department, is issuing this Request for Proposals for these campaign services. The contract will involve developing and executing a Trust-approved campaign to achieve this goal.
